    1. I call them in. Often with great difficulty. We are trying to find their nesting territories so we can protect their core areas from near-by logging. We call at night to find their presence, then return in the day to narrow down where they are living. This year, I have been for what ever reason running into lots of owls, like this one – who has been MIA for the past several years.

      1. Any Barred Owls? I got to go out with a Forester once who called them in with his voice. Pretty amazing to see the birds up close.

      2. Yes… That’s why I was asking… Just curious if this was a strong issue in your “neck of the woods”… 🙂
